Jolene Smith brings years of exoperience in orthopedics and women's health, having worked in these fields in South Africa, UK, New York City and Honolulu, before moving to New Zealand.

She is an advocate for the physiotherapist’s role during the child-bearing years, when tremendous stress is placed on the musculoskeletal system, particularly the back, sacro-iliac joints and the pelvic floor. Serious injuries later in life can often be avoided by addressing the small, nagging issues during these years, for example mild incontinence, back or neck pain, sacro-iliac joint dysfunctions and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Jolene uses computerised biofeedback equipment to assist with the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor issues in both men and women.

Jolene enjoys running, yoga, flamenco dancing and spending time
with her family.
